Exterior Restoration of St. John’s Church
This restoration project is repairing and replacing rotting and damaged cypress with cedar on the main structure of the church. The steeple has been repaired and stabilized. The Parish Hall leaded glass windows have been repaired and energy efficient storm windows have been installed. All exterior surfaces have been painted. The funding is from various sources: a capital campaign, grants, and multiple church fundraisers.
On September 24, 2022, we celebrated the completion of the exterior restoration of historic St. John’s Episcopal Church. The video of the event is below.
